Environment, things to do, pool, sauna, bowling

We did not have breakfast and rather we prepared out own Room was good I suppose the only downsize is having to sleep in two single beds, the room had only one fan which was insufficient, there was no Iron in the room. We did not use the pool We wanted to use the SPA facility however we did not as it was either closed or maybe we went down the wrong times

The distance from the hotel to the University of Twente was quite a distance Room cleaning was not available and therefore we did our own cleaning There was no iron in the room and we had to go out to the laundry room to iron We had to pay additional for bedding and sheeting and therefore, we washed the sheets on our own

Room was sufficiently large with a balcony. There was decent cooking facilities with refrigerator, dish washer, utensils etc.The view was lovely with a forest behind the resort.

Towels and toilet paper could be provided. The resort is a bit away from the city centre. Nearest bus stop is about 1.2 kilometres away. Unless one has a car or rents one, it is difficult to travel to city centre and back.

The breakfast was very pleasant. In particular the scrambled eggs, and sausages. Also the croissants were delicious

A socket close to the bed would have been nice for charging the phone. Since thee hotel advertises as a 4 star hotel, a safety deposit box was expected but missing.

Quiet and tranquil, it was great to just relax and enjoy the view. The swimming pool and sauna were a great experience. The small forest was great too. The breakfast was a good spread - plenty of options.

Although the room was comfortable and clean, there could be a bit more attention paid to the small things: - paper cups in the room make it feel cheap; - when the room was made, no replacement coffee pods were provided - no tea - some areas of the property have a feeling of neglect to it (tennis courts for instance) - Some of the rental bicycles can do with a service and some care

We were there for a night as a family with a kid of 2 years old. We did enjoy the most the swimming pool. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices

Pleasant staff at reception, good food and drink, nice location, didn’t get a chance to use the facilities, generally a lovely Hotel.

the information on the hotel facilities as supplied on a A5 sheet was extremely poor : no mention on how to call the reception desk by the room telephone, nor what the checkout time is, how the coffe-automat in the room is supposed to work (it did not work intuitively),

The hotel is just a very good one, in my opinion ratings can easily be a solid 8. Room with enough space, very comfy beds, friendly personal who will help you with extra things. You can do some nice walks nearby. And there is a place in the lobby were you can sit with friends.

Minor details are that the Terras was more of a balcony, and that the place were the (great) breakfast buffet was served could be bigger, now sometime it was a bit crowded to get for instance some to the croissants.

Location , Orientation & space of apartment , well very design , two toilets & bathroom in one apartment was very thoughtful , very neat & tidy utensils . Everything needed was available . Bright , well ventilated & spacious apartment in the middle of nature , Very good swimming Pool & Sauna , Very good gaming zone at very low price of 1 Euro and very cooperative staff .

Extra charges for Towels not clearly specified which created little bit of confusion and waste of time . We understand that this problem is faced by most of the customers and hence request to specify it clearly

The property is located in the middle of a green area. Lovely walking routes right at the doorstep. The pool was lovely and warm. All in all we had a lovely stay with our two young boys who loved the swimming pool. The appartment was perfectly fine - enough space with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!

What i didnt like however was the arrival where i was confronted with a higher bill than expected due to a miscommunication (??) between the hotel and booking.com where i had an extra 50 euros all of a sudden added to my bill. The hotel informed me that i needed to pay and sort this out with booking.com to get refunded. Not very customer-friendly.

The hotel is great! The pictures don't show all the good features, because this resort has: a pool (12 pers.), tennis court (2 lanes), bowling lanes (2x), table tennis, air hockey, pool table, nice walking and cycling paths. The food was also good! For breakfast you can choose a time slot of 1 hour and for dinner you can choose a la carte or €35 for a 3-course meal. The food is also tasty. The breakfast is exactly what you would expect, just all the normal things you would find in any hotel. There are also spaces for groups to sit down, close to a fireplace. It's really cozy. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel with all the facilities! The hotelroom was also clean and we even had a bath in the comfort room :D And it has ELECTRIC CHARGING STATIONS (2x) :D

The hotel didn't provide all this information on the booking website, but because of the other reviews we found out about all the facilities and options this resort had!

Great staff! The beds are extra long and quite comfortable, and the breakfast was great.

The location in the middle of many dairy / beef farms makes a pretty pungent odor, but even given this, I’d still return. The facilities were adequate, but the hotel itself is starting to be dated in its appointments. I think for a spa hotel, some renovations could be made to make it more luxurious / modern. There are also no lifts, which meant several trips up and down stairs (we had a full luggage trolley).

The SPA services were amazing, and it was wonderful to wake up with the birds. THe hotel provided take-away breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Wi-Fi was really good in our room.

For this price, I was expecting the rooms to be a bit nicer or have more amenities, like a tea kettle, bathtub...

The location is good, we went during the times when the spa was closed so I would say that probably the main benefit of the property was not available which made the stay less interesting. Nonetheless, we booked an apartment and it was okay for a few nights stay.

The complex is old and it tells. The walls, furniture, the carpet - everything shows it’s age, so if you want a fancy stay, this isn’t it. It was a good deal however, and the location is nice, you can cycle around and spend some time in nature. What was quite bad though was the staff. Although the hotel was barely occupied during that time (around Christmas 2020) the staff didn’t make the smallest effort. We didn’t have towels in the room (which I don’t believe it’s indicated on the front end of the hotel either - so we had to pay 7€ for a set of towels- but that is not the problem) and we called the reception to have the towels sent to the room and we were bluntly told “you need to pick them up from reception yourself” At checkout, we asked for one hour later checkout as we had a small injury we wanted to take care of before leaving (not to mention I am a genius customer so this should be something that we could benefit from) and we were told “okay but hurry up”. No proper customer service from the staff and again this is in the context of 70% of the hotel being unoccupied. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay!
